Descripción

Muskiz was once one of the largest mining areas in the Basque Country. Iron ore was transported by train from the Iron Mountains to the loading docks on the coast. On this guided route, we'll walk along the greenway (5 km) that runs from Kobaron to the Piquillo dock in Ontón, Cantabria. Along the way, numerous remains will show us the whole mining process, from extraction to shipment.
