Come to the museum and learn about the past, present and future of "txakoli", a fresh, lively and cheerful wine that has been able to transform and adapt to our times. Delve into its history and that of one of the municipalities with a great Txakoli tradition , Bakio, land of txakoli.

Guided tour with audiovisuals, interactive, temporary exhibitions ... an interpretation center where you can taste different types of txakoli paired with typical pintxos of our land (Gilda and Idiazabal cheese).

More than just a museum... txakoli through the five senses

Opportunity to get to know the factory of the Boga brewing cooperative from the inside. Guided tour of the winery and tasting of its natural beer.

Test your senses. It is a blind tasting of different drinks from our gastronomy. You don't have to be an expert oenologist, just want to enjoy and learn among friends.

The old oak frontier between the modern and the classic styles. Tasting of 3 different types of Txakolis paired with local products. Through a walk around the Amunaga river, full of history and natural diversity, we will arrive at the new Itsasmendi Winery.

An experience through nature, the vineyards and the new facilities that will allow us to to get to know the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, the winemaking philosophy of a winery that is a pioneer in innovation and the knowledge of the diversity of Bizkaia and its vineyards.

Due to the location of the Berroja Winery and its 24 hectares of vineyards on a 250m high hill with views over the whole of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, it allows us to interpret and show the Reserve, with its most interesting points, as well as the borders of Bizkaia to the south.

Itsasmendi means a txakoli between the see and the mountains. A tasting of 6 different txakolis paired with 3 pintxos will show us the txakoli’s evolution.

The location of the winery and its 24 hectares of vineyards on a hill 250m above sea level with views over the entire Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, allows us to interpret and show the Reserve, with its most interesting points, as well as the confines of Bizkaia to the south.

The vineyard and its management is another of the facets that we show in addition to the foundation of our elaboration, to complete the visit with a tasting of the txakolis and local products of artisan origin.
